This is how I’m currently running my startup with Devin + OpenClaw🦞 The browser testing in Devin is mind-blowing. I was trying to duct tape and jerry-rig all this stuff together with Playwright + uploading videos to PRs and all sorts of stuff and Devin just does it all... show more

Mat Ishbia on trading Devin Booker: “Devin Booker’s our franchise player. I love Devin Booker. Devin Booker loves being here. Our coach loves Devin Booker. Our GM loves Devin Booker. Devin Booker is going to be here. Devin Booker is going to lead us to a championship here in Phoenix. That’s what he’s going to do. And we’re going to build the right team around him. He’s going to get better, just like I’m going to get better, just like everyone is going to get better at our organization. Devin Booker is who we want here. He’s great for the city, great for the community — I’ll ride into a fire with Devin Booker, and I’ll do it proudly. He’s going to have my back and I’m going to have his back. Devin Booker’s our guy. The national media just says stuff to say stuff sometimes, and sometimes I like to respond and sometimes I don’t, because it’s just ridiculous. Devin Booker’s not getting traded. Devin Booker’s our franchise player and, like I said, we’re going to win a championship here with Devin Booker and I’m excited to do it, and I’m excited to be next to him when we do that."

My first move after joining Cognition - using Devin to update my website! My repos are indexed with Devin. I ask for a change, the Devin coding agent knows which repo to make the update, creates the PR, and sends me a link to review. This is especially cool with teams.

Enjoy this introduction into E2E testing from my latest workshop "React End-to-End Testing with Playwright"! 🎉 Let's talk about what E2E testing is, how it has nothing to do with the browser, and what is its true goal.

I made OpenClaw🦞 10x better. I wish I knew this stuff sooner. I spent the last 2 weeks using it and put together all of the best practices I learned. Here's everything you need to know:

Shai: "I'm not really after the success. There's so many people in my life that sacrified for me just to play this game that I love and I would be doing them a disservice if I didn't give it my all. None of the accolades and the points and all this stuff that's cool on social media none of that is what I'm after. I'm just after making sure that while I'm doing this thing I give it my all and I'm not wasting nobody's time"

Devin White on winning being ALL THAT MATTERS as a Detroit Lion🔥 “Self accomplishment doesn’t mean anything, this is coming from a guy who has hoist that trophy up with a lot of other guys, and that’s the GREATEST FEELING in the WORLD, I just want to get back to that. All of that SELF STUFF I did doesn’t matter to me.”

How I get shit done, Episode 001 I've set up a playbook called ‘land’, which is triggered automatically when I drag an issue into the merging column in Linear. That reliably runs CI and merges any green PRs. This has allowed me to ship way faster than before. I think the key takeaway here is you can try to build your own code factory and your own agent orchestration layer, but it is a huge amount of work. The truth is there are entire companies with massive funding that are already tackling this and it's just easier to use their platform. I think this is a lot like if you were a carpenter: you could build your own generator, fuel it, wire it up, and then build a plug and then you could plug your saw into it. Or you could just plug your saw into the wall. Because the electricity company has already done all the work in the infrastructure and investment to make that plug work. I think more of us who are building companies should just be plugging into the wall instead of trying to build all this tooling ourselves. As a dev it's so tempting to build your own dev tools but I think a lot of times, even though you can build fast with agents now, it's a complete waste of time. It probably sounds like I'm being paid by Devin or something but I have zero financial interest here. They don't give me credits. I'm not an investor. I'm not being paid. I just think the tooling is really damn good. If you used Devin a long time ago and wrote it off, you really should have another look - for $500/month it's pretty obscene what you can get done.

This is so relatable! I love how honest this is. I tell myself all the time that age is just a number and I need to suck it up and deal with it… and then my husband reminds me, “You’re not 18 anymore.” 😂

Getting the entire Harness Engineering system setup for my repo and it's blowing my mind. It even identifies when UI was changed and records a video of testing in the browser and adds those videos to the PR for me to review. I'm using this setup as a guide:

THIS 🔥 "I have self-belief. I don't listen to all the stuff that's floating around on social media. I'm not reading all the stuff, the positives and the negatives that are being said. I'm not being controlled necessarily by outside forces within society. I focus on myself. I listen to my music. I do my job. I know how to arrive and to work with people, and I'm working at getting better every day. And so I don't stress about the stuff that is out of my control."

Devin Booker on being snubbed from an All-Star selection: “It was a goal of mine, but this just reproves the point of the NBA is different than the NBA I fell in love with. All the best players made the All-Star game, and now it’s an entertainment, drama, political league.” 😳👀

i've been looking for the best harness for GLM 5.2. finally, I found it. Devin Desktop is remarkably good, and it's free until July 5th, so try it now. nader dabit swyx Zixuan Li as a heavy user, i pay $160 max GLM coding plan, but the ZAI team is swamped with everybody hammering the API, so the API is not very stable. devin changed the whole experience. Here are 3 things: 𝟏. 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. I asked GLM to port my customized Solarized Green theme into the Devin Desktop. It edited the theme JSON and registered the extension (see below demo). I couldn't get this working in Zcode. 𝟐. 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭. likely, devin is using the Modal FP8 DFlash accelerated GLM 5.2 model. Speculative decoding is all we need. 𝟑. 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐲. one hiccup: the default windsurf cascade agent didn't work for me. switched to devin local, works beautifully.

Former Phoenix Suns HC Earl Watson said he stopped a trade that would’ve sent Devin Booker to the Chicago Bulls for Jimmy Butler: “We’re on a road trip. [Robert] Sarver sends me a text, ‘Come to my house immediately’. I pull up to the house and I sit down, he [Sarver], goes, ‘We have a trade for Devin. We’re gonna send Devin to Chicago for Jimmy Butler”. “In that moment, I was the biggest Devin Booker advocate. It could’ve changed my entire coaching trajectory. I seen a kid that could be one of the greatest players ever. I said, ‘If you trade Devin Booker, I am resigning tonight.” (Via, Bucks+)
