Australians are missing the fundamental root cause of its demise. The government system. The Westminster System coupled with our current Constitution allows basically anyone over 18 to become a politician and ultimately be responsible for a country of 28 million people. No experience required. No Standards are set to ensure our country is run by qualified people. If you ran a business using this model you would be broke in a year with multiple lawsuits and sackings for misuse of company funds ( Anika Wells) and fraud (NDIS). On top of that you have equally unqualified people in an "opposition party" stifling what the government is trying to achieve. Staggering concept of inefficiency If Australians really want to fix this country and ensure a safe and prosperous future we need to fix/change the government system and the Constitution. Australia must enshrine pre requisites of intelligence, subject matter knowledge, experience and loyalty in the constitution to ensure we a governed to the best standards.
