This is how LI Auto’s FSD-like system works in heavy rain. Public release will start in June. It’s mostly vision-based computing platform. Current setup still includes LiDAR for redundancy. LiDAR will be phased out in future vehicle models.

They yanked the whole user interface from Tesla. Fonts, design, layout etc. How can this not be theft?

Good Luck getting rid of Lidar. Lidar uses infrared, and infrared is very useful during foggy conditions.

That’s impressive. 👍. They also use RF radar I think which helps with the rain. Tesla is pure vision only and will soon add HD radar for redundancy. The million dollar question is which algorithm or sensor is doing the heavy lifting in this rainy test drive, vision or RF radar. @elonmusk @WholeMarsBlog
