A Tuktuk rider hit a Defender from behind. Thank God, no one was injured. The Tuktuk was badly damaged, while surprisingly, the Defender didn’t even have a scratch! 😅 God, one day give me a car like that Defender! 😂🙏 But jokes aside, this is a reminder that road safety starts with you and me. When driving and you suddenly sight men in uniform and guns, either soldiers in Army camouflage, police, or paramilitary uniforms standing on the express in an isolated area, slow down from afar and scan the area for proper visibility. If the road is a two lane express, ensure both sides of the road where the uniform men are standing are not covered with bush. If the both sides of the road is covered with thick and over grown grass, please it is a red flag. Before soldiers, police, civil defence, immigration or customs set up checkpoints or road blocks in the middle of nowhere, they will properly clear the bushes on one side, or on both sides of the road where they intend to mount their road block. They will build makeshift shades or seats. They may build makeshift shelter and create a proper space for vehicles to park.
