actually retarded take. I worked on a clothing store and I can tell you why this happens: Demand and offer makes the prices go up and down. The price tag is patched out every fluctuation and some stores choose to not change the entire ettiquete, just apply a new price tag. +

I went through the athome store after Covid started. They had gone through with price stickers and marked up every single item. Straight up price gouging. You’ve already paid for the goods, they’re already at the store ready to sell yet they somehow change in value without any improvements?
