That’s terrible building, you build a proper corner where the blocks are bonded with each other, you don’t build 1 wall and have the other butted up to it, especially on a corner, that building will crack instantly.

Sloppy workmanship. You don't use your trowel to carve V's out of a block, and you use the handle butt to level, not the blade. He also didn't strike his joints afterwards. You can see it in the wall behind him. Gaps and unfinished slop.

Excellent techniques, many people dont put the vertical rebars let alone the links at the corners. Great engineering all round.

that's not how you do it. the walls are apt to separate from not running a bond around the corner. those loose rebar staples do nothing to prevent separation
