THIS IS INFURIATING. Casey Means, MD explains what high fructose corn syrup does to our bodies: "It subverts our hunger cues and makes us feel even HUNGRIER. Hibernating animals like bears...need to put on 20-30 more pounds of fat. They eat super-ripe, fructose-rich berries...it actually tricks the bears' brains... show more

Not to mention all the food dyes in our food. Their possible side effects sound like a medication ad! It's almost like Govt/Big Food/Big Pharma don't even care about our health. More from @CaseyMeansMD here:

@CaseyMeansMD Go carnivore!

@CaseyMeansMD Aren’t the food companies the same people that own the tobacco companies? They know the benefits of addiction translates into Corporate profits whether it’s nicotine or high fructose corn syrup.

@CaseyMeansMD Too many carbs increase your need for carbs... that's why a low carb diet works. You lose desire for sweet stuff and high carb "addictive" foods.

@CaseyMeansMD Seed oils Glenn. That’s the big one.

I switched to a carnivore diet nearly three years ago. I eat once a day most days, sometimes twice. I don’t get hungry like I used to. I go 18, 20, 24 hours from my previous meal and I think. Oh, I should probably make some food. I see my coworkers eat every two hours like their life depends on it. They get angry when they go only a couple hours without eating something. It is insane that humans don’t even know what a true hunger signal feels like anymore.

@wendyp4545 @CaseyMeansMD Our government approved this because they hate us. They do not want us healthy! Big Pharma runs the country.

@CaseyMeansMD Where have you been for decades?

@CaseyMeansMD I'd like to find out how much what we've been eating has effected our mental health too.

@CaseyMeansMD Beef, bacon, butter, eggs (plus salt and water) for at least 90 days, and your life will be INFINITELY better
