cat-inspired vision controlling a real robot arm is such a strange but convincing direction. if evolution already solved fast visual prediction, borrowing the mechanism instead of reinventing it from scratch makes a lot of sense.

Love this. LIF dynamics are cheap to simulate but capture the temporal coding that transformers miss entirely. Tracking with 80ms lookahead on a 20k neuron budget is genuinely impressive work. Following the updates for sure.
