It’s not his income, it’s his wealth. He built something valuable, he deserves it.

Without him they wouldn’t have a job at all.

10k in 30 seconds 💅 "That's so nice" EVERYONE: ... Yeah, nice

His base salary is ~$88,000/yr. He receives another maybe $1.5-$1.6m in non-salary comp. The rest is stock ownership. A lot, for sure, but he also brings all the capital and bears all the risk if the company fails.

@JamesGibso75217 They have a job because of him. Also, run the clock of how much all his employees together get compared to Jeff’s little blip.

Yep, you can clearly see how big of a difference and responsibility is in the management roles. One mistake made by Bezos may equal demolition of the whole company, bad for all the employees... One mistake by that guy, incomparable less consequences 🐏

Fun fact: Jeff Bezos made his first Amazon sale in 1995 and yes, from his garage!

Not entirely accurate. He makes something ridiculous like $230 a minute but not quite THIS much

He earned every bit of that pay. Jeff Bezos owns 10.1% of Amazon, the company he founded. Currently the market cap of Amazon is 2.89 trillion dollars. That means he created over 2.5 trillion dollars of value to small guy investors like you and me. However, employees of companies like Amazon get sizable stock compensation. Meaning that if you worked at Amazon the last 15 years and had stock in the company you would have seen the same amount of growth Jeff Bezos had. Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk or Steve Jobs or whoever deserve to get paid crazy money because they are the only people who have the ability to create billions, even trillions of dollars of value for the economy. It’s called capitalism and you reap the benefits of it. Don’t be such an idiot.

1m = $20k 1hr = $1.2M $1.2M x 40hrs = $48m $48m x 52wks = $2.5B a year Idk…. Maybe
