This not only heart breaking @epicnephrin_e , this is also insult to junior Doctors. Since 35 + days junior Doctors are doing protest for justice but CM don't has 3 hours time for meeting with junior Doctors. Protest of junior Doctors will continue untill #JusticeForAbhaya .

They all were offered umbrellas as soon as they had come out of bus. But they refused. They were offered a place to take shelter but they didn't enter. But yes, the meeting could've taken place last night even it was late.

Actually... I don't think the doc was ready for a meeting without live streaming. And, vaise bhi,.. live streaming will be used for a political benefit by opposition,.. u(docs) won't get any benefits out of it.

This is very heartbreaking a government behaving in this manner if they cannot talk on live streaming then let it be open to all let be in public if the government is not at fault why hide . Involve Supreme Court and have an open discussion

We said to just record the meeting and once it is over, kindly provide us with that recording. The officials didn't agree to that. The CM came outside and requested us to have a meeting over tea - but the junior doctors said that we would have tea only if justice will be delivered. We later gave up on the demand of recording as well and just asked for the minutes of the meeting, but it was told to us that there had been a delay and nothing could be done now. We kept waiting in the rain, but we had to return without any solution and all the junior doctors were disheartened... Today, Sandip Ghosh has been arrested and it shows that our demand was right. Today Conservatives showed up to work for veterans at the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs, but the Liberals canceled the meeting. Last week as soon as the Liberals had their majority they shut down committees, including improperly adjourning the Veterans Affairs Committee. This week, they are shutting down ACVA by not meeting today and later this week ensuring the meeting is closed to the public without cameras to hide what they plan to do with their new majority. If the past week is any indication, what they plan to do won’t be in the interest of veterans.
