I devoured Larry's albums in early 80s. Long after they stopped selling the records in brown paper bags from under the counter. I poured over the liner notes each word a morsel of mystery and truth. Mystery is something we've lost, along with its depth of meaning... and truth.

Larry was connecting with his intended audience during that period of history. If you aren’t old enough to remember where the culture was, you probably cannot appreciate this message.

I learned to play every song off Larry Norman's “In Another Land” album, and a lot of his other songs. Larry was 1 of 1. (Although in fairness, his buddy Randy Stonehill was pretty out there too.)
