This is literally how i feel playing Deadlock while barely using actives and not using parry much

I also avoid actives until i realized there’s simply nothing else that can solve my issue other than the press to remove negative status item, it will come with time

I would highly suggest changing the active keys if they are uncomfortable to you. I personally do m4, m5, E, and leave V as is. (Usually something like cultist sacrifice is on V)

parrying is for people who like getting hit back i play like this and my teammates just have to deal with it

best way to get used to it is honestly by starting slow and kinda just forcing yourself into it, some actives like decay/silence wave can be bought pm every game by a majority of the cast so they're a super good starting point while also being low effort
