What a time to live in - to be able to see the surface of another planet like we were right there. Incredible.

This is Mars. 140 million miles from Earth. Once flowing with rivers, now dry and frozen. Home to the tallest volcano in the solar system — Olympus Mons (3× Mount Everest), and a canyon so vast, it could swallow the U.S. — Valles Marineris. Temperatures drop to -125°C, and winds howl at 100 km/h. Yet we dream of walking there. From ancient skies to rovers today — Mars isn't just a planet. It’s the future waiting in red.

lol yet we still have places with no cell service here 😂🤷♂️

Mind-blowing to think we can see a place so far from home with such clarity

We don't get to see total wind sculpting on Earth. There are lots of weird shapes you can achieve on Mars. This also means that if they come across a pebble bed, you immediately know it's an ancient river bed.

NEED banana for scale

Clearly a giant crab on mars. Duhh

Crazy how we can see another world like that nowadays 🤯 +1 followed

I don't care about mars anymore. Let me know when mars can grow trees, then I'll care.

Beautiful but those radiation burns on the edges of the rocks are harsh. No joke, how rough it will be for us.
