This is Naheed Nenshi bragging about having "access to data that others don't". He's referring, of course, to the voter list. The NDP used the list to request 650,000 mail-in ballots from Elections Alberta for the upcoming referendum. They know exactly who came out to vote in the last... elections. The last federal election 200,000 mail ballots were not counted they were temporarily lost in mail ... NDP stupidity has ruined BC

Not sure if the reason they are giving for so many is the lack of volunteers for the vote? If so, I can't see any reason with valid ID, that the vote couldn't have been extended for 2 or 3 days. Valid security to collect the boxes of ballots for counting.

On a slightly different note, if we’re going to carry on with direct democracy and voting in referendums, there should be an option for secure online voting. If it can be done for My Health records, it should be possible for voting.
