This is a formal warning to the City of Chicago City of Chicago and to the entities that operate Daley Plaza Daley Center, Public Building Commission and Transwestern. The Serbian community has deep roots in this city since its earliest days. Chicagoland is home to the largest Serbian community outside of Serbia and the Balkans. We are a huge, longstanding, and proud community in this city and we will not accept being disregarded or insulted. Without any consultation with our community, a decision was made to raise the flag of the terrorist and criminal “Republic of Kosovo” at Daley Plaza. This is an occupied territory that remains deeply painful for the Serbian people as this land is the centerpiece of our religion, culture and identity. For our community, this act is not symbolic or fun, it is a political statement that directly insults us. This action is unacceptable. If this terrorist flag of so called Republic of Kosovo is raised again in our city without dialogue or consideration of our community, you should expect a highly visible public protest at levels you’ve never seen before. We demand that this issue be addressed immediately. Engage with our community. Show respect for the people who have built this city. Do not repeat this mistake. Do not think to insult us like this ever again.

You travelled to one of the whitest countries on earth and you're shocked that you don't fit in? You left your country, where you were surrounded by your people, to come to a country that everyone on earth knows is a white country. You're not a victim, you're an eejit. The Irish are under no obligation to like foreign strangers, you are owed nothing here. How many Catholic churches are in your village in your home country? How many Irish pubs are there? Are gangs of Irish men hanging around the corners of your towns and cities back in Nigeria and Afghanistan? Are we asking your entire country to tolerate our dietary requirements and tolerate us praying in public? This video is taken from the Sleeper Coach of 12105 Mumbai CSMT - Gondia JN Vidarbha Express at Thane Station. While we have a lot of Vande Bharats running with empty, ordinary citizens are not able to afford a Vande Bharat ticket as it costs more than their salary. They are unable to put their foot even into a reserved compartment like this. Despite our pleas, our esteemed technocrat Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw don't listen to our prayers to increase the number of affordable trains for the vast majority of our population. We've noticed that he often responds swiftly to issues raised by affluent and celebrities, even when the matter is as major as a hacked Twitter account. We greatly admire your love for our nation, which led you to take Indian citizenship. Your involvement in the #18to82 campaign promoting menstrual hygiene, anti-tobacco awareness, and traffic rules advertisements has been inspiring. Moreover, you are the only celebrity actor who could ask tough questions to our Prime Minister! The residents resist compliance, escalating the situation, putting on a display, and challenging authorities. This forces agents to become less tolerant and more forceful in carrying out their duties. It has become commonplace for people to ignore law enforcement's orders; this is what ratchets up the violence, not the ICE officers doing their jobs. The fact that people who are here illegally are so emboldened to ignore law enforcement speaks to a greater issue than their being here illegally. They have no regard for our laws at all. This cannot stand. This isn't brutality, it's accountability. You can't flout laws, provoke enforcers, and then claim victimhood when rules are applied. That narrative has run its course.

The AI based surveillance mechanism set up by TN Forest Dept has started recording elephant movements on Railway tracks in pilot project mode in Madhukkarai at Coimbatore. The surveillance system has 12 towers fitted with both thermal and normal cameras, installed at strategic locations along the railway track for early detection of animal movement. The sensed data is automatically transferred to the control room set up on the site that processes the data collected from the field on real time basis and alerts loco pilots through calls and SMS. This area has seen several tragic elephant deaths due to collision with trains on these tracks. We are trying our best to prevent these collissions through use of modern technology which can be a big boon in preventing elephant deaths in such areas. Our whole country is in the grip of an establishment which wishes to wash away everything it means to be British to tell you that you cannot be proud of who you are or where you come from, to tell you that you can't be proud of our little island which conquered and civilized the entire world. The island that wrote and signed the Magna Carta, the island whose language dominates the global culture and is spoken in every corner of the globe. This is our moment, this is our last chance to salvage what is left of the United Kingdom before it is too late. Before our way of life exists only in history books, taught somewhere in Russian or Chinese, culminating in the story of how we lost it all, how we threw it ALL away. New York and Chicago are two big hubs in the eastern US. Distance: 800 miles or 1300km roughly. Same as Delhi - Mumbai in India. There are 3 ways to travel. You can fly. You can drive. Or you can take a train. Fastest train is Amtrak lakeshore which takes ~19hrs. Driving takes 14hrs but you need to rest as well. I love trains. So I decided to take Amtrak. Their sleeper class. Took a roomette. First of all - American trains run on standard gauge. Which is smaller than Indian broad gauge. The compartments are smaller. And the trains are less comfortable. They shake way more. Second - Americans really don’t understand passenger trains. This train left late and then sat on a random station for 30mins. It’s already running late and usually reaches 2-3 even 5hrs delayed. And this is supposed to be a premium train. Culprit ? Freight. Americans don’t have dedicated fright tracks. The train btw is full. Which means people do want to travel on it. All sorts of people. Old, young. Business travellers. Only 2 coaches are sleeper - rest are coach (chaircars). Then the train reaches Albani and has to merge with another train from boston. Whole process takes 30-45mins. Can you believe a major train just sitting off a closed platform, cutting off its engines and adding more bogies in the middle of its journey in India ? The train had power supply for 30 mins cause it’s powered by diesel engines. Which are cut off. Diesel engine. Yes. The entire route except parts of NYC is non electric. It’s all old school diesel. It slowly chugs after and stops everywhere it can. Like an old Indian passenger train. The cabin is decent as it should be for a $700 price. The food is microwaved prepackaged stuff - ie very bad. There’s a coach attendant but he doesn’t care. I’ve travelled extensively in Rajdhani - and I can tell you it’s high luxury compared to this. And for 1/10th the price. The food, the cabin - all are superior. The reason I’m bringing this up is not to say Indians know it better. Not at all. But that even the most advanced cultures get it wrong. Even the most sorted out people - the one most advanced in tech - somehow don’t know how to run cross-country trains at scale. And this is not even a cross country trip. Hardly 1/4th of it. So what did they get wrong ? They stopped building. Upgrading. Improving. They do a few things right. Like making good highways. Take that learning. They do many things wrong. Like this train. They’ve stopped building. No dedicated freight tracks. No magnificent new stations. No high speed rail. The only lesson to learn is to not make that mistake. Build. And keep building. There’s no substitute to that. Keep building. Keep upgrading. Keep improving.

New York and Chicago are two big hubs in the eastern US. Distance: 800 miles or 1300km roughly. Same as Delhi - Mumbai in India. There are 3 ways to travel. You can fly. You can drive. Or you can take a train. Fastest train is Amtrak lakeshore which takes ~19hrs. Driving takes 14hrs but you need to rest as well. I love trains. So I decided to take Amtrak. Their sleeper class. Took a roomette. First of all - American trains run on standard gauge. Which is smaller than Indian broad gauge. The compartments are smaller. And the trains are less comfortable. They shake way more. Second - Americans really don’t understand passenger trains. This train left late and then sat on a random station for 30mins. It’s already running late and usually reaches 2-3 even 5hrs delayed. And this is supposed to be a premium train. Culprit ? Freight. Americans don’t have dedicated fright tracks. The train btw is full. Which means people do want to travel on it. All sorts of people. Old, young. Business travellers. Only 2 coaches are sleeper - rest are coach (chaircars). Then the train reaches Albani and has to merge with another train from boston. Whole process takes 30-45mins. Can you believe a major train just sitting off a closed platform, cutting off its engines and adding more bogies in the middle of its journey in India ? The train had power supply for 30 mins cause it’s powered by diesel engines. Which are cut off. Diesel engine. Yes. The entire route except parts of NYC is non electric. It’s all old school diesel. Western Railway is undertaking a major safety-driven encroachment removal operation at Garib Nagar, Bandra (East), today i.e 19th May 2026, after due legal process extending over several years. The following facts may kindly be noted: 1. The matter is not sudden or arbitrary. Proceedings under the Public Premises Act were initiated before 2017 and eviction orders were passed on 27.11.2017. 2. The issue has undergone extensive judicial scrutiny over nearly nine years, including proceedings before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court and Hon’ble Supreme Court. 3. The latest orders of the Hon’ble Bombay High Court dated 29.04.2026, subsequently upheld in further proceedings as well as before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, have permitted removal of unauthorized encroachments, while protecting identified eligible structures. 4. Western Railway is fully complying with judicial directions. Structures identified for protection through the joint survey process are not being disturbed. 5. The action is being undertaken primarily in the railway safety zone adjacent to active railway tracks, where unauthorized habitation poses serious risks to human life and train operations. 6. This railway area stretch is operationally critical for augmentation of rail capacity in Mumbai. Removal of encroachments is essential for railway safety, operational flexibility and future infrastructure expansion, including additional train services. 7. The proposed works are linked to enhancement of carrying capacity on one of the busiest rail corridors in the country and will facilitate introduction of additional long-distance train services for passengers across India. 8. Railway land cannot remain perpetually encroached, be it anywhere, and more so in safety-sensitive operational areas. At the same time, Railway administration is acting strictly within the framework of law and court directions. 9. The operation is being carried out jointly with civil administration, police authorities and railway security agencies to ensure maintenance of law and order and humane execution of the drive.

Kuomintang Chairwoman Cheng Li-wen has concluded her visit to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing and is scheduled to take the high-speed train back to Shanghai this afternoon. The vast majority of foreigners are unable to truly grasp the intense desire among the Chinese people to achieve national reunification. Our Chinese nation endured a history of suffering and humiliation that spanned over a century; Dutch colonialists once occupied and enslaved Taiwan, followed by 50 years of colonial occupation by the Japanese Empire, and subsequently, military intervention by U.S. imperialism obstructed our national reunification. Yet, the people on both sides of the Strait are—at their core—Chinese; bound by shared bloodlines, language, script, culture, and history, it is simply impossible for the United States and its puppet Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) government to engineer a state of "de facto, long-term independence."
