Who can help me figure this out? With the 'legacy' Cloth in Blender you can add Hooks and stretch a mesh during simulation. With the same setup and the new Cloth Dynamics in Blender 5.2, it just pulls on the individual Vertices. What am I doing wrong? #B3D #Blender #Blender3D

Blender 5 makes setting up a Lattice easier than ever. Select an object, or even multiple objects, and then from the Add menu choose Lattice Deform Selected. You can also use Lattices to add objects to the surface of another object, and to animate things. #blender #blender3d #b3d

very excited to share what I've been working on, I've created an addon which allows you to run FastHenry directly in Blender! you can use the power of Blender to create any curve object and then call FastHenry to simulate the resistance and inductance. This demo video shows how you can calculate the resistance and inductance of a bond wire in a power module. You can experiement with different shapes and curvatures and see how the inductance changes. Furthermore you can control the radius with geomotry nodes! Also, you can combine this with ElectroMag Nodes to then visualise the magnetic fields! Just look at the new Compositing in Blender 5.2. This is cool. Now the compositor can play sequence animation in real-time right in the compositor, and look at this, I'm doing color grading while the animation is playing. On top of that, the overall performance of the Compositor has grown a lot, and it now works at a level where you don't need to use DaVinci Fusion and can work fully in Blender. Because now Blender can definitely do that. Blender 🔶 This is an awesome update! Maybe you will think about adding the ability to move images in Compositing just by dragging them with the mouse, in some of the next updates...
