This was just another political football to keep the race war alive and create more situations like this in the future. Yes, justice was served in a court of law, and the verdict was appropriate, but the court of public opinion failed miserably here, and that’s what you should take away from this.

This was at La Jolla Cove in La Jolla California. These people are swimming at the Cove but there is a good amount of Sea lions there. 😳 You can see one of the Sea lions almost run over a kid as it is trying to get back in the water and you can hear a voice over the loudspeaker telling people to please keep their distance from all the Sea lions. People argued about this saying that little beach was always meant for kids to swim at and has been that way for 40 years. But many others said that it has obviously changed and now we have Sea lions there and they should leave those Sea lions in peace and go find another beach. To me, the ocean, that is their home. There are plenty of other beaches to use. The people should be the ones to move, not the Sea lions. 💯 What is your opinion? Should they just keep it the way it is, let people around the Sea lions or should they close this small beach cove to the public in order to allow the Sea lions to be in peace?

This is from today's #WCWS game. This was ruled a base hit when it happened (you can see the 'H' pop up), but was changed to a missed catch error by the first baseman at the bottom of the fourth. This is an impossible catch for the first baseman with a ball thrown from that angle, that hard. This throw has to be to the glove, and while it's not a wild throw, it's low enough that the first baseman cannot get her glove around it in time. This is where replay gets you in trouble. The slo-mo replay makes it look like it's a catchable ball, but it isn't. In real time, at live speed, this isn't an error. This isn't a missed catch or a drop. I was loving the call of a single, especially because it was the first hit, and then, when it was changed, it felt like it was to protect a no-hitter. Everything about this screams "above ordinary effort" ... I would have left this as a single.

Tatted Tickle Chair Torment Fuck do I love getting to wreck these straight studs in my tickle chair. Not only can they take the punishment so well, they’re also just really fun to talk to about cars and shit. This was Andre first time in a tickle chair (and hopefully not the last) and wow did he manage to take it like a champ. You can tell he’s trying hard to push through this and man was it a loooonng session too. I have been seeing this video for days and tried to not comment on it but my guy here has a following and was on Richie’s podcast as well. First of all, none of what he said is true and it is verifiable By the context he presented it, it is fair to say the NLM was not necessarily ‘Asantes’ even though the party was set up by Baffour Osei Akoto who was the Asantehene’s Okyeame and some Asante chiefs and prominent men. The NLM (or Asantes) were asking for federal system because they felt a central government could mess up the riches/resources in their territory. You have to remember they were the leading producers of cocoa in the Gold Coast at the time…together with the Eastern territory. They also feared a central government could become authoritarian and take ‘rogue’ decisions (which eventually happened). The northern (region) supported this also for their own reasons and there prominent people from other tribes that supported it too… It had nothing to do with regions. How would not getting a region (that was essentially existent by then) be a problem for independence anyway?…Makes no sense, no correlation whatsoever

Al Pacino added this moment to inject some much needed humor into this character. As he explained: "The humor was a part of what I thought right from the start would be necessary in order to get this guy so that you could laugh at him also. Because if not, it was just going to be a one-way street. So you needed to find those odd things, those twists, those ironies to give the character some intelligence too, so that there was something else going on also. So, I washed up as usual and came out to the completely quiet dorm, like everyone disappeared. I thought, “What’s going on?” Then suddenly Seonghwa came over to my room and said, “Hongjoong, come here for a second. The guys said they have something to tell you.” I was like, “Huh? What’s this about?” So I went, thinking, “What is this… ugh, we have a schedule tomorrow too.” I kind of got myself ready and opened the door - and all seven of them were sitting there with serious faces, like they were in tears but also trying to hold it in. For a second, I thought it was like a surprise birthday party. It really felt like that at first. But then I saw their expressions - they looked really upset. So I asked, “What’s going on?” And they said, “It’s frustrating. Hyungie, you’ve been acting too much like this, and it’s making things hard. You don’t need to promote or push things that much, honestly.” As the conversation went on, from what I remember, one of them even teared up and said, “But hyung, if you go this far, it’s really hard for us. It’s too much. We have promotions coming up - please ease up a little.” And when I saw that tear, I thought, “No… this isn’t right. I can’t let this go on.” I admitted my mistake and immediately apologised quickly and said “I’ll try to do better from tomorrow”.
