RIP to a real one💯 Shawty Lo said JAY-Z is his favorite rapper of all time. “I don’t like the brag about it but I was one of the largest drug dealers in Atlanta from 96 to 2004 before I went to prison, so I felt like JAY-Z was talking about what I lived”

Perfect time to share this clip given some of the recent topics of conversation going on in hip-hop. - Rappers who lack substance in their music. - Jay-Z re-releasing “Dead Presidents” on its 30th anniversary. One of the best scenes from “Fade To Black” finds Jay at Baseline Studios working on “The Black Album” and having a conversation with Q-Tip, Young Guru, and others. The topic of conversation is, should rappers rap about the reality of what goes on in the environments they come from? Or should they ignore it and rap about what’s selling and being pushed by the music industry? Jay & Guru highlight that rappers are scared to be themselves in fear of not being accepted by the public. Jay then goes on to recite a few bars off “Dead Presidents” stating that his lyrics, for better or worse, are based on his real life experiences. The clip then cuts to Jay in the booth recording “December 4th” and in walks his mother, Mrs. Gloria Carter, who is greeted by Jay’s best friend and partner, Ty-Ty. She is there on her birthday to record vocals for the track. A perfect example of what makes Jay-Z the greatest rapper ever. His music has always been based on honesty, regardless of the subject matter or the type of record, he always raps about his real life. And his music has the perfect balance of having substance without coming off as preachy, and still making records that could appeal to any audience.

Imagine being in the studio and hearing this new beat by RZA… Look at the focus of Inspectah Deck. GZA’s vibing, trying to come up something. But Inspectah Deck is mesmerized, already LOCKED IN… He has no idea yet what he’s about to create; that’s he’s about to be a part of hip hop history! But you can see it in his face what he *feels listening to this beat… And just like that “C.R.E.A.M.”, one of Wu-Tang Clan’s most iconic songs, one of hip hop/rap music’s most important classics, was born…

Is Jay Z actually on his knees for Joe Budden ⁉️ Allegedly Jay Z blackballed Joe & derailed his career through being the president at Def Jam. Jay even released his own version of Pump it up after dubbing Joe for a feature. Strangely after 2017 the two started talking nice.. is it a coincidence that around this time is when Joe was rising to be one of the biggest voices in Hip Hop media🤔 Joe recently said he’ll speak on Jay Z after the concert and I believe that’s because Joe will be off the clock. He helps Jay Z when he wants not because he has to. It’s a power play for Joe

Jay Z has been overrated his entire career…I laughed when he labeled himself the best rapper alive and mainstream media repeated the propaganda — when his music has always been trash 🗑️ Jay Z stayed biting from other artists his entire career…Because he has no originality, no creativity, and no bars!!!!! I am not new to this, I am true to this — I told the sheeple celebrity worshippers the truth about this glorified industry plant —and somehow got labeled a hater😂 Some folks think I’m just hating on Jay Z, but the reality is, his music has always been garbage. He is an installed plant by the establishment and the music industry — my opinion 🤷🏽‍♀️ The establishment knew that Jay Z was mediocre rapper, and a willing house ninhgga — who would do any and everything for riches and fame…
