This is really interesting. A Tesla owner received his Model Y two weeks ago with factory software version 2026.8.300. Normally, it takes 4–8 weeks before a new vehicle is moved to the regular software branch. He has just received a notification that his car is updating to FSD 2026.17.5....

Truly disappointed with FSD after tonight. Tesla needs to do everything in their power to get people off factory branch software. Gets halfway through an intersection only to slam on the brakes. If I were a new Tesla owner I would never touch this tech again. This is fixable. Every single new vehicle needs to be on the latest builds to ensure they have the best experience possible. I will not be continuing my subscription and will consider again once they decide to get me off the factory branch/FSD 14.2.2.5

UPDATE The man in the video has now come forward and provided the following video to explain what he brought into Mitch Sylvester's store. Information that I have received includes - He avoided calls from the RCMP for several weeks - He left the store with the item - He is claiming it was just a misunderstanding - The RCMP still has an open investigation - Charges could still be filed - There was one item, not two as previously reported If this was infact the item he brought into the store along with his "This is for Mitch" message, this is hands down the dumbest thing anyone can do to the employees of the store, and to Mitch directly. There still is an active investigation as showing staff a bullet, or a pen that looks like a bullet, uttering a threat, and not responding to the RCMP for weeks, is still grounds for criminal charges. Thank you to the dozens of people who did recognize the man, and provided tips.

My friend who bought a new Model 3 today was convinced that the 3 couldn’t be quieter than his Genesis. He had an injury that basically made his voice the volume of a whisper years ago Talking in the phone in the car is trouble for him because he can’t speak louder than a quiet whisper. I told him to try voice command in the Model 3 and the look in his face as the car picked up every word he said precisely was so fun to see the surprise on his face! He called me on his way home saying this is the best most quietest car he’s ever driven. Before today he has never driven any tesla and now 8 hours later can’t enjoy driving anything else!🔥🔥🔥

President Carter’s time on this earth is coming to an end according to his grandson Jason Carter. What a great man. At 99 he has accomplished so much. With an election coming up let’s remember all he has done for voting rights. Jason Carter: "My grandfather is doing okay. He has been in hospice, as you know, for almost a year and a half now, and he really is, I think, coming to the end.
