Go for it! Even if it doesn’t feel like a must need watch it’s worth it alone for one of Peter Cullen’s lesser known portrayals as Optimus Prime.

Zarak had promise to be a great main villain, his cold voice was so naturally authorative it feels strange to hear Galvatron shouting at him.

They had so much potential…. I could see where this could’ve gone: The Decepticons return more powerful than ever, as well as seeing the Pretenders and the Powermasters appear! Also, Starscream returns and makes things complicated for both Galvatron and Lord Zarak!

The "Headmasters" was, in my personal Opinion, one of the STUPIDEST concepts in both the cartoon and toy series that I saw growing up. OH look.. without their heads, they're STUCK in vehicle mode; yea.. really adventurous and inventive. TOTAL garbage!

The one who was talking to Galvatron was the voice actor of Lex Luthor of the Superfriends.

It’s honey amazing how Optimus: Awakening has been the only attempt to return to the G1 cartoon continuity(not counting sequel series like Beast Wars)

I wanted that short to be a continuation of this. I'm so mad. We're never going to get that continuation. We could have a actual Transformers 97 cartoon if we got a proper revival
