Being an essential worker doesnt necessarily mean having a rare skill. You can have an essential worker who’s just a guy who presses a button once a day, which is a job even a chimp could do. The job is necessary, but the worker isn’t.

C19 was Brutal I worked 9 1/2 months straight with no day off. At a shitty wotc reefer trucking co out of Fargo. They lied about the pay like they all do. It wasn’t .65 it was .40 taxed .10 not taxed. Truck speed wasn’t 68 it was 62. I said got a trainer position open ? So I could make some money then leave. 1st guy was a black X con murder . He slept on the top bed I slept with 1 eye open. lol 2nd guy was a brain dead military guy. Then I said I,m done being a trainer . I had to move into a beater Trk loads from in the middle of nowhere in nd. & Angeryapolis to Nj. I Love Jersey people so that was good. The pay sucked bad & I had to pull a few cables & pull fuses , etc. so I could run illegal like I was dispatched. I basically lived on cans of tuna & little Debby brownies. Throwing up white foam so hard I burst the blood vessels in my eyes. I only got 1k 1 time for handout money & made 40k . I didn’t hv any money but I dated alot during c19 on the rd. We Never hesitated to make out , etc. Funny because other people had mask on in separate rooms . Lol I figured i,m going to die some day & if I die from this chic . Good then I don’t hv to be tortured anymore. I didn’t hv heat in the truck either . I had 4 days off in 365 days. I didn’t fit in the tiny truck. I work for a pay check & don’t give a fuck about some marketing bs a co has. So I worked for the 1099 Chicago Russian mob next. Trks r way faster & pay was 3 times as much. 20-42 hrs straight & 7 days a week. But mostly NE a 32 hr day is only 500 mi. I worked for 13 of those crazy EU co.s wages dropped in 21. I was 6,3 now I,m 6,0 in 2 1/2 yrs that’s a beating. I didn’t like that stupid title essential worker. In other words Loosers . Having rocks , bricks , etc thrown at you during BLM . Wasn’t easy to take then gives us a dumb fucken name. And Not give us a weekly hand out but people that didn’t work get there hand out. Makes sense don’t it. When the Covid pandemic started I was working at 711 and was labeled essential worker cuz of gas and alcohol lol 😆 I even carried a special permission slip from work it was crazy
