I'm SO impressed by Claude Skills. They are the best way to package custom instructions (and code) for the agent to access. (I prefer this to Claude Code's subagents because of the way it handles context) I used the skill-creator skill (comes default inside Claude) to create a skill for designing a presentation like Steve Jobs or Seth Godin, then used that skill to create a PPT about Claude Code. Below is a walkthrough of the results. The output when using the above mentioned skill vs when i don't is so clear. I'm bullish on what this implies for both Claude web and Claude Code. My whole company runs on skills I bundled into a GitHub repo. Here's how to build the same thing for your team: - Put your skills in a GitHub repo - Get Claude to write the couple of JSON files that make it readable as a plugin - In Claude Code, type /plugin, go to marketplaces, add marketplace, paste your repo URL - Split the plugins by department, so your copywriter isn't installing the finance skills It works in Codex too. I've got the same team skills installed there and I use them the same way. Now when I build something like my Notion formatting skill, I add it to the repo and it lands on everyone's Claude and Codex. If someone wrecks a skill, we roll it back to an older version. The key is enabling auto-update, so when someone improves a skill everyone benefits. I don't have a clue how the JSON works. I got Claude to set the whole thing up for me. Start with one skill and before you know it your whole team will be AI pilled.

I built a variant of Matt Pocock's grilling skill dedicated to frontend and it has improved how I build new apps and components. The general idea: 1. Use /grilling and /prototype as a base 2. Tell Claude to build 5 WILDLY different prototypes 3. Tell Claude to include a picker that lets you switch between each variant live 4. Each round you select your favorite(s) + leave feedback, and Claude will walk down each branch of the design tree, helping you zoom in on your desired design And THEN, I went and added it to /wayfinder, so whenever I make a new map and there's novel frontend work, a ticket is created specifically referencing that /grilling-frontend-prototyping needs to be invoked. This will not be the last time I build a cool skill and add it to Wayfinder; this is a very powerful pattern for planning work. You can find my skill here:

I’m sick of reading AI slop, so today I’m open-sourcing my /no-ai-slop skill that removes 20+ slop patterns from any piece of writing. 📌 Get the free skill here: If you find it useful, please consider starring the repo so more people can find it. Why I built the skill: I use AI to edit my writing because it helps me fix spelling, grammar, and clarity. But even the best models keep producing the same slop that this skill removes: → Binary contrasts: “It’s not X. It’s Y.” → Throat-clearing openers: “Here’s what nobody tells you.” → Fake-profound endings: “The future isn’t coming. It’s already here.” Use this skill responsibly. I always write a first draft manually before iterating with AI on edits and I make sure to do another manual pass at the end as well. Skill Development: I’ve been asked a lot about why I do multiple reps back to back. I think there is time & place for both. We have times when we are only focused on 1 thing. But with these two I’m working on next play speed (the mental toughness to go to the next play) and fitness. This is just a 3part drill working on multiple skills and shots, out of actions we do. I also allow input from them. #GrowOurGame #EarnWhatYouWant

The skill gap in Fortnite is NOT that massive! Arenas Boxfights has just officially exposed this. Day one as a Zero Build player I got 47 wins. If it was THAT hard I wouldn't have even gotten 1 win. Sure the top 0.000001% like Clix are actual keyboard ninjas and I literally wouldn't be able to even get 1 hit on them BUT the gap between me and say someone who's been building for a year or 3 is not that crazy. Give me a month and I'll start doing 1v1s. It's not hard.
