Unsportsmanlike behavior from Ms. Tóth. She is a Hungarian tennis player and this is Hungarian Open. I have played in clay courts and usually you clear the mark and play on so that next time it is visible and doesn’t overlaps. However she should have waited before rubbing it. Kudos to Chinese tennis player Zhang Shuai for this difficult decision and retiring from the match. You go to a tournament to win and cherish the journey. I would have asked her to play on and fight it out but here the referee seemed clearly biased. Like all games, the decision of referee is final (unless video challenge).
