Side note but the raised on YouTube etc comments are so real. My daughter’s friend, despite being born and raised in UK, completely has an American accent at 7yo bc of how early & how much YT she was watching. 🙂

Not even just accent, she uses the American word alternatives. For example she won’t say bin, she’ll say trashcan 🙂

Exactly I work with school agers mostly and they Bluntly ignore everything that’s told if it doesn’t have to do with having fun they don’t want to engage

Awful parenting. If my daughters teacher ever told me this shxt my daughter would stand there and apologise to her teacher. I would also make it clear this is not how to behave and we didn't raise a child that behaves like this.
