@jatashie I don't have leftovers. I have dogs.

We don’t throw out food it’s too damn expensive I purposely make extra for leftovers Nothing like eating last nights supper for breakfast

75/25 for us. If it's something we really like we fight over the leftovers. But otherwise (like when my husband makes 5 gallons of pea soup) we do end up throwing it out.

This is the way.

False that's breakfast the next day

Doesn't anybody else cook a deliberatedly big amount to have for every other day of the week?

That’s why you have chickens and pigs. Nothing goes to waste.

It’s very important to use your refrigerator. 😂😂

I tell my hubs we can trow it away now or in a couple of weeks. He always swears he'll eat it

We are so fortunate to have so much food available. My grandparents were not so lucky. They taught us about the hardships they went through and my family learned to appreciate and be grateful for what we have. We show that gratitude by not wasting.

In SE Asia, you put it in a new container, to sort of scare it. Then, ~5h later, you start a fire in plain sight of it. Now it's terrified. You bring oil to almost boil, and throw it in for failing to be eaten earlier. This repeats for years. Teaches food to be good.

Get some chickens. I live in the suburbs and have a dozen of them. They eat leftovers and we get eggs

Get a dog. Nothing is ever wasted and can easily dispose of spoiled food you forgot to give to the dog earlier.

@PoorBoyzSol

Not anymore for us. I got the post it brand tape and I tear off a piece and put the date on the items. That saves so much food! Restaurants date their food, why not us at home?

You forgot a step. it should be "We store it in the refrigerator. And we make sure to put it way in the back behind everything."

“Mom, why is there a gay fat beeaner in our house”

Same same.

My wife gives it to the dog after a couple of days.

Ha! That's my house, we put it in the frige until it unrecognizable as food, then we throw it away. *

Nope. I haven't thrown away a scrap of food in 30 years, and I always eat leftovers

Don't store food in those toxic black plastic containers!! Threw mine away.

Nearly always use up the leftovers. Being from the 80's, having bubble n squeak style fry ups. Also can throw anything almost in a soup. No real reason to throw away stuff.

Its just because every house got a refrigerator 😂

Not in my house! We barely have any left overs as it is, but when we do they go into the fridge for the night unless the girls, two dogs, haven’t eaten yet at which time it gets mixed in with their daily dry food. I also happen to love certain leftovers for a simple lunch.

Bro, what?! That's my lunch/dinner the next day! If you like what your wife makes for dinner and you like leftovers, it's like a reward in the fridge. 😄

🤣🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻

Shit, when my children were growing up, brother hubs and 2 children, I never had leftovers. 🤣🤣🤣

this is not the way "son we put the food in a nice container and put it in the fridge and you eat nothing else in this house until you have eaten this you ungrateful little shit"

Happening and just happened somewhere now and will happen again anywhere!

Chooks or compost

Guilty!

🤣
