It was one of my favourite series for a long time. Still so bitter they never did the latter half of the series as anime

The manga is even darker. Too bad that the anime‘s production values are low. I remember someone in an newsgroup who somehow got access to the brandnew op just after in was broadcast on jp TV in 2003/04, without existing fansubs. I wasn‘t aware of Nifty/Share yet back then.
