All know it’s the somali construction cartel and they not stopping at all! The development continues, excavation ongoing nearby at junction of Masari /2nd, construction ongoing at Highridge, 2nd , 6th parklands & on riparian land on 1st parklands & that too on top of rivers!

This is just reactionary. Did it have to rain for the county govt to discover that ‘developers encroached and blocked’ drainage, bwana Katibu Mkuu? Prevention is better than cure.

By diverting the river into a narrow canal, they have significantly reduced its ability to handle excess rainwater, leading to massive overflows during heavy rains. I witnessed firsthand how rainwater has been flooding homes and spilling over onto roads, making them impassable. As the County Government, we are committed to implementing a permanent solution. This includes restoring natural waterways, improving drainage infrastructure, and taking firm action against non-compliant developments.
