This is the most important post I can make. When I converted to Islam, it was challenging. I didn't know where to start and I was overwhelmed by the lack of organized resources to learn the basics of the faith. I started Relay with a mission to make things... show more

How to rank #1 in the app store, even if you have 100+ competitors Most app names solve memorability OR discoverability. The good ones solve both, and they do it in two different places. Here's how to craft one for your app: - Make it short, 3 to 10 letters. - Google it first to make sure nobody else is using it. - Check if the domain is available. - Keep the searchable keywords in the subtitle. When I launched my app the name was "AI Tattoo Generator" After realizing my mistake, I landed on "Inkigo - AI Tattoo Try-On" Searching Inkigo puts me in the #1 result And people searching for an AI tattoo generator still find the app.

“I think drinking is the most important thing in the history of our culture. I think it is as important to the social growth of a person as tee ball is. You make friends. You make enemies. You learn how to deal with people. You learn how to deal with your own fuckin shit when you gotta get up in the morning. It is the absolute fucking best thing in the world”

(Episode 2) I'm building an app to make $10,000/Month and I'll record everything... This episode I start building the AI Portrait app only to learn that none of my friends want it, but I still believe... Link to first episode: Why this series? I want to document my WHOLE journey building an app, marketing it, and making money off of it. Is it really that easy? How hard is it? I've been seeing so many X users online talking about how easy it is to make money online with AI now. I want to test it and show people the reality of making a business online.

Bismillah Ar-rahmaan Ar-Raheem. It is with great humility that I present to you Iqraa, a project that I've been working on for a couple of weeks now with the sole mission of making knowledge more accessible to Muslims in this digital era. Without doubt, trying to learn about Islam can be daunting and difficult if you don't know where to start, or tedious because there's just so much information on the internet, with that in mind, I sought out to build this as a means to bridge the gap between Muslims and the knowledge of Islam. I ask Allah to accept it from me as an act of Ibaadah and that it becomes something adopted far and wide insha'Allah Visit: to get started.

Pelosi on the hard feelings the Bidens have for her: "We're all on a mission for the American people ... I think it would've been important for the children to not have Donald Trump be POTUS. I would take every step necessary to make sure that didn't happen. But it did. And now we have to deal with it"

"When I got the job, I didn't want to make a lot of rash decisions and jump to anything really quick. I wanted to have some time to sit back, evaluate, look at it and kind of figure out what the best thing to do was. Wanted to be calculated in how I handled it and I thought today was the right time." Mike Kafka talks about the timing of firing Shane Bowen now:

I asked Astra to create a Catan game in three.js and it came out incredibly well. I played it, and the animations make it so much fun. The instructions and info cards make the game easy to learn. It even has AI players and trading. Astra used another game I had started building as a reference. The more games I build, the more skills and assets I have for the next one. It can remix the UI, 3D models, pages, and sounds instead of rebuilding everything. Now I want to see how many other board games I can make from this foundation.

🫍 It wasn’t really that big of a thing, but it happened during the time when I was going through burnout. Like I said before (about trying to heal by doing things out of comfort zone), since this is something new for me... The thing was, I had a really sore throat, so I couldn’t take singing lessons, but the concert date was getting closer. That one time when Ju asked me when I'll take a practice for song, I had a sore throat at the time. Well, since I’m doing it anyway, I needed to do something, so I decided to learn the language instead. I had to make those 2 hours of lessons worth it to practice my pronounciation. For me, it was pretty hard because I don’t really watch Korean series. The 2 series I remember watching are Full House and The Glory, I guess? So the language wasn’t really familiar to my ears. You know, it’s hard to mimic because I usually learn by mimicking. So when it comes to a language I didn’t really have much exposure to, it takes longer time to practice. The L sound and stuff like that. But when I can finally do it, it's so fun. I love it.

“I was an organizer. An agitator. I know how this works. When the buses start coming in, it’s paid. When the signs are already made, it was decided in a meeting room. The money has to get cleared first. That’s how it’s done. I did this professionally. I knew how to pressure companies. I knew how to bring attention to my union—and how to bring attention to the people I was targeting. I was good at it. I won awards for it. My picture was on a wall in Midtown Manhattan. When I ran rallies, cops knew me. They knew I didn’t start trouble—and I never did. That didn’t make me weak. It made me smart. Risk versus reward. A police officer was never a reward worth the risk. I was taught by one of the best organizers in New York City. What I’m seeing now out on the streets? Paid protesting. Same playbook. They’re just doing one thing I never did. Attacking police isn’t smart. This isn’t theory. This is how it’s done— from someone who did it.”

Quick video on how I used claude code, icon composer, and my iOS app to make my app icon. I got a ton of questions about how I did it: It started with two questions: can you reshape the route to approximate a "p" more but like a character of a p not a real "p" as a test icon? "Can you give me a settings sheet where I can parametrically create The loop that I want to make... like, give me every possible parameter for the loop in the three d scene, and then make sure I can copy those values to you. And we could take that and implement it. I think that might be faster for me to be able to manipulate a p shaped loop."

Sam Altman reveals building Codex was a "crazy kamikaze mission" to beat Claude Code and that most of the best coders he knows now use Codex. "We were way behind Claude Code, and it seemed like a kind of crazy kamikaze mission to try to beat them with a coding app." "The consensus is that this kind of thing never works, and you just move on to the next one. It's a fool's errand to try to win when someone else already has momentum in a particular product category." "But we decided we thought it was really important. We asked a team to do it, and they performed a legitimate, unbelievable, very rare in the history of business thing." "Now it is the product that most of the best coders I know use." "That felt like an impossible thing, but if we hadn't asked the team, hey, we have a really important but extremely hard mission for you, it just wouldn't have happened."

When I started thinking about raising a real estate fund, I wasn't sure where to begin. And then I met Yoni Tuchman - one of the best fund formation attorneys in America - and I was off to the races. I told Agora I wanted to share my story, and help others who are ready to make the shift from raising deal-by-deal, and not sure where to begin. Words cannot express how ALL OUT Agora went to make sure we did it right! Yoni and I flew down to Miami and filmed an AMAZING session in front of other GPs, and together something I am so proud to share. (Agora is a real estate investment management platform for GPs and sponsors. They are the place where your investors log in, track their investment, and access everything they need. They streamline your operations and know how to support you when it is finally time to think about launching your fund, so you can focus on the important things.) I think you will get a lot out of the video, and I know I wish I had watched something like this back when I was trying to figure out how to get started. HUGE Thanks so Agora for sponsoring and making this happen. Link to the full event here -- enjoy!

XBOX CEO Asha Sharma briefly talks about GTA 6 and the impact it will have on the industry. “I think it’s just one of the most important parts of culture at this point and we want to make sure we’re fully supporting it” It was great to hear her say she’s excited to learn from it. I’m sure there are loads of companies who will be getting the notepad out when this game drops.

2021 when the New Era started, I had a chance to make the theme song for THE TEN (I wasn’t part of the staff back then). And today, when all of THE TEN have been fulfilled, it was an honor to use this version of Only Today to end this wonderful era. Thanks for supporting JKT48!!

The new GitHub Copilot app is out. I have a pretty locked in workflow when it comes to AI tools, but I figured why not give it a try and I have to say, it has found a nice spot. This is how I use the app as an open-source maintainer of several projects.

Mamdani: As the mayor of our city, I will always look to keep an open line of communication with the president of our country, and to do so always with the interests of New Yorkers in mind. And that means making clear where there is disagreement, making clear where there is prospect for partnership, and also, at the core, asking: How can we make it easier for New Yorkers to live in the most expensive city in the U.S.? How can we make it easier for them to live here, be safe here, and for them to dream here?

My kids can be finicky when it comes to food, but my problem is with me. I don’t want them to be without so what ends up happening is if they like something, I will stock up on it. This is why I have two mega boxes of slim Jims in my pantry, this is why I have 4 Costco size boxes of Welch’s fruit snacks and so on. I have yet to find a healthy compromise when it comes to keeping a decent amount of the foods they like in stock. They change their mind too much and when they stop eating it the food expires so I have to throw it away. Almost like clockwork right after I threw it away, they ask for it again. I definitely know how it feels to try to make sure the kids have things they want to eat but with them changing their minds so much, that makes it quite challenging and I really don’t have a viable solution except to run to the store every time they want something. What do you do in this situation? I am willing to try anything at this point to avoid the waste of food and money.
