This is what I want from a pilot.

I spoke with a Delta Pilot several years ago. Installed a water heater for him and he invited me to sit down and eat dinner with him afterward. He said it took 7 years before he ever met his boss He said in 17 years, he has never had the same co-pilot. He said that is why he is so open to eating dinner in his home with strangers. He said there are 3 airports in the world that have so much air traffic, the planes coming in revolve in the air in a cone fashion called a “Christmas tree”. One night, while rotating and waiting his turn to land in the “Christmas tree”, the nose of his plane was struck by lightning, creating a temporary loss of dash and digital gauges. It shook him up. Delta called him. Confirmed the lightning strike, asked if he was ‘good?’ And said his next flight leaves in 45 mins. They are not a family oriented, personable group or organization
