This is the process I was describing yesterday with Semenyo. Calvin Bassey also went through DIG. He moved to a new city, Leicester and this family hosted and took care of him throughout that period.

you're probably wondering why it took so long for me to release new music. a little over a year to be exact. while i was battling three diagnoses, i disappeared for a while and moved to the states alone. went through a period of adjustment that challenged me more than i expected.

Thoughts and prayers to Jayden Adams and his family. The boy lost his grandmother few days ago. I want him to know that we appreciate his sacrifices through this difficult period, he is not alone in this ❤️🇿🇦

Many people tagged me in a viral video of this American man, who has been widely referred to as the "Mzungu Chokoraa," claiming that he had been abandoned and was living on the streets. After I shared the video, his wife reached out to me and requested that I visit him to understand the true situation. This evening, I met him and his family, and I learned that he is not homeless. He is a married man, a father of five children, and has been living with his family in Texas, USA. According to his family, he has bipolar disorder, and his condition became worse after the passing of his mother. He is currently under medical care and takes prescribed medication. The family explained that during some episodes of his illness, he may leave home and wander the streets. This has led many people to believe that he is homeless, which is not true. They also shared that he has a passion for recycling and environmental conservation, which is why he is sometimes seen collecting recyclable materials or around dumpsites. I would like to clarify to the general public that this man is not homeless. He has a loving family that cares deeply for him. When you see him on the streets, please do not judge or discriminate against him. Instead, treat him with dignity, kindness, and respect, knowing that he is living with a mental health condition. The family has also appealed to the public not to buy him alcohol or give him weed, as both can interfere with his prescribed medication and may seriously affect his health. Let us replace stigma with understanding and compassion. Mental health conditions can affect anyone, and those living with them deserve our support, respect, and humanity.

Five years ago was a really dark period in Canadian history, and for me nothing epitomizes that period better than this clip of 21-year old Ocean Wiesblatt being arrested by 2 Calgary Police DEI hires. The "Officers" took him down (with a Taser drawn but not used), handcuffed him, and cut off his skates to remove him from the ice. He was charged with obstructing an officer (because he wouldn't provide his name), resisting arrest, and breaching public health orders. The sad thing about this whole period is that the majority of Canadians didn't learn anything. I am certain that this could happen again. Just look at what happened in Calgary in the summer of 2024. As a result of the Nenshi government's incompetence (I know Gondek was in power, but the problems pre-dated her), the city had a water line break that required major water usage restrictions. The city setup a snitch line, and it exploded with neighbours ratting each other out.

I remember being in studio when Christy Dignam and the RTÉConcertOrchestra recorded this stunning cover of 'Nothing Rhymed' for 'Big Music Week'. I was moved then listening to it, and still am today. My thoughts are with him and his family as he receives end-of-life care. ❤️

Dhar Mann: Just for context, Keith was traveling after a long weekend with his family and had his baby with him when I called him and asked if he wanted to bless this lady. This man literally changed his flight to make this happen while his family waited patiently in the car. That’s who Keith Lee is. A real one, through and through. Grateful to call him a friend

This is corruption, pure and simple. Trump’s crypto company took $100 million from a foreign businessman with no prior ties to him— what he did have was a history of money-laundering allegations. Then $75 million of that money went straight to a company controlled by himself and his family. We cannot normalize this grift. op: Aaron Parnas

Immigration agents detained an employee of the New York City Council. "A regular checkin quickly went awry. He was taken in and he was moved to a detention center. He was a city council employee who was doing everything right. He went to the court when he was asked. I wanna be clear, he's legal authorization to remain and work in this country until October, 2026. After we learned of his detention, we immediately reached out to the ICE facility office at the Bethpage facility. But shockingly, the phone number doesn't even work. It says that the number is disconnected."
