This is the thing that drives me absolutely insane with Xander during his tenure with the Padres. He earns a 2-0 hitters count, gets an ideal pitch to drive but somehow is in between swinging and not swinging. He then gets a similar pitch the very next pitch but... show more

Aaron Boone was asked if he would've preferred for Anthony Volpe to take a pitch in the 11th inning (he grounded out on one pitch with the bases loaded) "Not necessarily. The first pitch is the best one to hit sometimes"

I’m convinced Rafaela had the pitch. He was hunting the breaking ball and went down to get it. He knew it and swung like he knew it. Not sure if Fairbanks tipped it or if Cora is doing his thing again, but I don’t care one bit. What a win!

Decision making is an emphasis for our hitters. Along with that is helping our guys understand WHERE they do damage. -Good 0-0 take on borderline strike -Good decision on 1-0 off-speed -2-0 doesn’t miss a pitch he does damage on. -Not all strikes are our strikes-

Will Smith is unbelievable. He goes down 0-2. He takes two balls. He fouls two off. He then hits a go-ahead, two-run home run on his birthday and bobblehead night. Dodgers lead 3-2 in the 8th. Smith is as clutch as it gets.

Luis Arráez has some of the best bat to ball skills in the game. Here is a look at how he makes pitch height adjustments. The higher the pitch, the flatter the shoulders and barrel. The lower the pitch, the more he stays over the plate with his torso. If you struggle with the low pitch, think about “sticking your nose on it”.

Dillon Mitchell's IQ coupled with that lightning athleticism is a very dangerous combo Look how fast he triggers when he realizes Salaun's only hope is to save the ball Then the pitch back to Uzan

I don’t care about bat flips or home run celebrations. But whatever this shit is when taking a ball, is lame as hell. Also, he struck out on the next pitch.

My issue with Crone is swing decisions I don’t think he’s being coached up right. His overall Swing% is up 4% this yr vs his career but he thrives when he swings at the 1st pitch or ahead in counts like most hitters. However, his swing% in those counts is down 3%. SWING PLEASE

What a goal by Mathis Albert to make it 2–0 against Sunderland. It was a very difficult match in which he wasn’t having his best day, but in the first 1v1 action he gets against his defender, he does this. Mathis is very special. #BVB

Ron Darling after Marcus Semien chased a 2-0 pitch off the plate... "What that tells you is that everyone is trying to do too much. It's a 2-0 pitch, let me take a shot at hitting it out of the park. Sometimes, your shot is walking and stealing a bag."

Unbelievable toughness from Ben Griffin. He gets hit in the face by a pitch, brings in an RBI to tie the game, and stays in. 2-2 in bottom 5th. #GoMatadors

Rogers in these types of situations can be a cheat code for Chelsea. He didnt have many yesterday, but when he is under pressure, he has the skill and strength to roll players like this and start transitions with runs, and if not, win fouls. His Chelsea teammates clapped for a good action

Malik Willis will hit free agency after the season. He proved to be a starting QB in the NFL throughout his 2 seasons with the #Packers. - 6 passing TDs - 3 rushing TDs - 0 INTs - 977 passing yards - 261 rushing yards His pitch is simple: "What you put on tape is your pitch."

Talked with Nico Hoerner about this pitch from opening day. He regrets not challenging, knowing it could have been ball 4, bases loaded, tying run coming to the plate. “I thought it was a strike.” But he gets it now, even if it’s like a 10 percent chance, it’s worth it.

Muslim man is furious, “Assalamu alaikum, The b*tch a** police of Oakland took the Palestinian flag off — (he then proceeds to spew an insane amount of cuss words)” ‌ This is how they view American law enforcement. I don’t understand, why not just go live in the Middle East?

Last Thursday I was having dinner with a friend at a regular shawarma spot near the subway. A guy he knew was sitting with us. Around 21, maybe 22. Hoodie, AirPods, beat-up backpack When the check came he grabbed it without a word. No discussion. Just tapped his phone and paid for all 3 of us My friend was not even surprised. Apparently this was not the first time I asked: what do you do? He said: "I copy wallets on Polymarket" I thought it was a joke. Or some trading guru with a $500 course But he explained it simpler than I expected "On Polymarket there are wallets that are consistently in profit. Not on 1 bet but on dozens in a row. I do not try to guess who wins the election or what the weather will be in Dallas. I just look at what a wallet with a 70+ win rate is doing and repeat it" He did not build models. Did not write scripts. Did not analyze news He opened Telegram and showed me a channel. Simple messages: wallet X entered position Y, price Z cents, market such and such Then he opened Polymarket and showed me his balance I am not going to name the exact number because he did not ask for that. But I will say this: it is enough for a guy in a rented apartment with 3 roommates to casually pay for dinner for 3 and not think twice I asked: "How did you figure out which wallet to follow?" He shrugged "That is the easiest part. Polymarket is blockchain. All trades are open. You go to the leaderboard, filter by win rate, look at history. If a wallet consistently enters positions at 3 to 8 cents and closes at a dollar that is not luck. That is an information edge" Then he added something that made me freeze "The funniest part is I do not even need to understand why he bets. I do not know where he gets his information. Maybe he is an insider. Maybe he has a model. Maybe he just reads news faster. I do not care. I see that he entered and I enter a minute later. The price usually has not moved yet" I came home and could not fall asleep Opened Polymarket. Went to the leaderboard. Started digging An hour later I found the wallet he was talking about → Starting balance was negative. Current balance is a 5-figure number. Win rate above 73%. Average entry 4 to 7 cents. Average win covers 10 to 15 losses I started monitoring it manually. Set alarms. Checked every 2 hours By day 3 I realized I cannot live like this I needed the same thing that guy had. A signal in Telegram that comes on its own the moment the wallet opens a position I found a bot that does exactly that → No delays. No manual monitoring. Wallet enters and you get a notification What you do with it is up to you. Copy it exactly, use it as a signal, or just observe 2 weeks have passed. I have not become that guy from the shawarma spot. Yet But I stopped guessing. And started copying Right now somewhere a smart wallet is opening a new position. The question is whether you find out about it in a second or in 24 hours when the price has already moved

what really gets me about this is that no he’s not jealous in the sense that he see her as a threat, he knows shane wants to be with him, he knows shane is gay. he is jealous that she got to have him publicly and he can’t. #heatedrivalry

This is as clear as it gets 🤷‍♂️ I understand Bryson being angry but he clearly tramples down the grass behind the ball and improves the lie whether it was intentional or not that’s a clear penalty
