Bro dove into a washing machine on turbo mode and came out looking like he could bench the entire ocean

@MNState0fHockey Add some algae and giant walleye and they could’ve just trained in Devils Lake for free

Back when I went to rescue swimmer school in the mid 1980s we didn’t have all this fancy wave machine bullshit. What we did have was all our gear, buoyancy compensators with no air bladder but 10 pounds of weights shoved in them and six to eight very pissed off instructors in the water with us make life a miserable hell.

They should be wearing what they would be wearing when they do actual rescues. They aren't going to have time to change into swimwear. They also need to learn how to swim in what they are most likely to be wearing when they do a rescue.

To add realism they put some sharks there too?

Tbh this is tame , no undertow or rip current , try being in the rinse cycle at Off the Wall in Hawaii on a 8+ foot day , been there and survived

@RealGsPatton007 I believe the rescue swimmers must swim with their head and eyes above water and always looking at victim so they never lose sight of the target. In the ocean one swell and you lose sight of victim if you’re underwater!

I don’t see the problem. We, as life guards at the Belgian coast, did it in the sea with even higher waves. And we loved to play.

That's crazy, I would drown halfway across, and I'm a decent swimmer! I have so much respect for the people that do these jobs.

Looks easy, I can do that after 10 pints.

Nice arrangement for their practice and training 👌, But Don't we need them to be proficient to cross the water that has higher waves then this too, so that they can manage the worst case too?🤔🤔🤔

@Blaq_Priest Looks more like a turbo Pool compared to the real deal. I wouldn’t want to find myself in here or in the real situation tho’ 🥶

You think they’d train with all their gear on? How often with these guys jump out a Halo in swim shorts and no shirt 🤣🤣🤣

Level 4 or 5 sized wave pool waves, I believe. These are pretty intense, but also are a great workout, if you can maintain stable breathing during the swim! (Life hack for those whom cannot figure out how to do this: to catch breath, face direction that waves are going towards.)

I’ve gotten smacked by 2 waves back to back.. I held on to my boogie board for dear life.. and the water wasn’t even crazy
