Conference realignment destroyed college football. Almost every year in the preseason, ND has 3 top 25 teams to play. It’s the same this year with Miami, BYU, and SMU. People are mad if you don’t play 12 top 10 teams which is just idiotic.

This will only change when SEC hacks abandon the strength of schedule model. Strength of record come playoff time is the only thing that matters.

Agreed! Strength of schedule should not solely define a team. How you win matters at least as much. Record against the spread, perhaps. Is beating Arkansas by 50 less impressive than beating Alabama by 3 because it’s Arkansas not Alabama? Not in my book.

If you want to put them in sure but ND should be punished heavily for it. You can get in like JMU because thsts all you deserve.
