This is too accurate: 😭

I like the humor in it but rest assured, always say yes if they ask that because 9/10 they won't because HR knows they are limited in what they can say other than confirm dates you worked there.

Nothing accurate about that. At the 5 second mark, the interview is over. "We'll get back to you. Next!"

This is a standard leftie take, but in real life two are usually not on equal footing.

"We just have a policy of X, Y and Z." Those words are used to shift the blame to someone else.

And in the end the employer still holds all the cards Because in the end you need a job more than they need you It’s a tragic reality

Not counting my own businesses, I have had at least 25 different jobs. I have NEVER gotten a job with a resume or job application. With well over 1000 turned in 0 success. I'm 65 and retired now. Every job is a walk in ask for the manager ask for a job leave my name and #.

Is this a cry for help? Blink twice if you're okay.

Isn’t this what Glassdoor is for?

Now let's do the "Where do you see yourself in five years?"

Fair is Fair - I now expect the Alpha's and fellow Sigma's that are looking for work to take the lead in making this trend.

Some employers go as far as asking for your social media accounts. So they can review your content. Others run background checks, credit rating , and the above video is pretty funny, yet most employers do ask for this information, yet many don’t check it anyway. What I find strange is when you’re hired by a reputable company, information like address, phone, and SS numbers are taken. Yet we have seen many companies hire illegal workers.

That's the best reverse Uno card I ever seen well played well played

Kind of like you're supposed to give two weeks notice but they can fire you on the spot.

Having been in my career for a long time, there came a point when things switched from them interviewing me to me interviewing them. For the authoritarian-minded, it is not a welcome role reversal. Luckily, this becomes clear very quickly, so you don't have to waste time on them.

I think I’ll be trying this next time I go for a job interview.

It makes perfect sense. Reference checks are needlessly time-consuming and often unreliable.

That's what is for.

That is fair request even if he has the right to say no.

What if your previous company went under and there’s nobody to contact?

Base everything on merit. Test to make sure he has the skills to to the job. THAT'S IT.

Yeah, this doesn't work unless you have some serious skills.

My previous employer... requires you to call a 1-900 number, pay 30 dollars and they will tell you. Ziegler started employment on this date. Ziegler left employment on this date. They will not tell you anything else.

Yep. Just with the dynamic of who needs who more.

Honestly should be like this lmao

So the labor board in California is so powerful, that all a new employer can ask a prior employer is, would you hire them back?? That's it. Unions are literally a scam in the state.

🤣

@ryancohen, call @UnitedHealthGrp, and ask them about me, please

Makes perfect sense to me same as for giving a 2 weeks notice. Employers don't give you a notice so why should we.

Not even close.

Too funny. 😂

😆😆👍

🤣

I mean that is cute - but you’re fired before you even hired. Next.

If only the power dynamic allowed this.
