Know why it auto-completes the action? It's because they were too lazy to create the failure state for that section of gameplay. They didn't even want to entertain the question of "what if a player doesn't do what we ask them to"

I hate these type of games.. are they just that lazy to put more animations and cinematics scenes if u fuck it up ? Like if u missed the opportunity and didn't press the button he will grab u by the leg or whatever and smash u on the ground and he continue his flight path..
