Regrettably, we continue to hear Republicans and Fox News propagate a false and dangerous narrative of an open border. Instead, they are met with a closed border that fails to process them adequately. We need a fair and functional immigration system that prioritizes processing migrants at the border, creates legal pathways for people, and allows for processing in their home countries throughout the Americas.
