This Portuguese Man-O-War shaped storm has jumped to CATEGORY 3 status just offshore of Bulgul, Australia, with tentacles of lightning driving her venomous winds to 115 MPH. Her central pressure is down to 956 mbar over the waters of the Timor Sea. While her proximity to the coast looks worrying, Fina is forecast to mostly stay out over the ocean and dramatically weaken before her third and final landfall in Australia.
