How come only the Sole is customized and not the Uppers? The fatness of the feet and the elevation too have to be taken into account while custom making the shoes to ensure all round comfort.

Why make the foot mold if its only to use for that 1st step of imprinting that brown stuff? Couldn't he just had the customer step on that and bypass the mold? Or did I miss it bei g used again...
