Iran has received a number of Dongfeng 17 (DF-17) missiles from China according to Israeli media claims. The DF-17 is a Chinese solid-fuelled road-mobile medium-range ballistic missile designed to carry the DF-ZF hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV). The missile is equipped with a hypersonic glide vehicle, which allows it to skip along the earth's atmosphere, allowing it to go undetected by radar for longer distances than a ballistic missile covering the same distance. US intelligence considers the DF-ZF to be nuclear capable and the U.S. has no missile defence to counter it.

🚨🇷🇺💥🇪🇺BREAKING: Heightened activity at Russia’s Kapustin Yar missile test range is fueling serious concerns of a potential large scale strike as early as tonight. Intelligence reports indicate possible preparations involving the Oreshnik intermediate range ballistic missile.
