”So you want to punish me?” - That was a golden comeback.

It’s amazing how many boot lickers are in the comments don’t realize their rights and that she is exercising hers and the officer is twisting everything to be her fault when he initiated without cause yes he has an excuse but no reason

I like how tried to articulate his “reasonable suspicion of a crime” by saying a car in a parking lot he doesn’t recognize is “reasonable suspicion” and completely leaves out the “of a crime” because there isn’t one. Guy needs corrective training.

Why are they so untrained on the 4th amendment and RAS? Who is this clown?

What a f*ggot this cop is. 😂😂 Tripping on authority for no other reason than he thinks that he is better than "civilians." You're a cop dummy. You're a civilian too.

We have got to get rid of these type of police officers. They are a threat on society.

That's because we allow retards to put on a uniform and badge.

Not just 4th amendment but clueless on the 5th as well. Fucksakes this is hard to watch. This cop needs to be retrained or fired. Men, women and even children died so we can have the rights we do. This is what happens if you don’t exercise them.

She was parked at night in front of a closed business. This is exactly what police should be doing.

The cop is doing his job. Fuck u all who can’t figure that out

Yet ANOTHER reason EVERYONE needs to know their rights and operate within them. We have a class for everyone who’d like to learn how to do exactly that. Hit the link.

Yes, Metro Nashville PD Officer Leonard was suspended for 5 days without pay after an internal investigation found deficient/inefficient performance of duties in this 2024 parking lot interaction with an auditor. Correct on the second point—officers have lawful authorities granted by statute and case law, not special rights.

1."What are my rights?" 2. "Have you denied me my due process." ( protect and serve)." 3. "Are you narrating or providing facts?" Ask any cop these questions on camera while you are being detained or questioned!

Just another pathetic cop who doesn’t know the law. Just despicable.

I just wish civilians didn’t let it slide, next thing they should do is take legal actions. There should be lawyers waiting for cases like this. Take their money, get them fired, repeat.

When police officer say "I have a right to ask for your ID" this is a semantics game, they do have the right to ASK but you don't have to comply unless being detained for a reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime.

I agree, why not just run her plate, walk up nicely and just ask if everything is ok.......THEN LEAVE!

As usual the same loons spout off “rights” that do not apply to thus situation. The cop explained why he approached her. That was reasonable. Common courtesy and common sense (which both are lost on morons) makes everyone’s life much easier.

Police cannot legally demand your ID if they have no reasonable suspicion that you are, have been, or are about to be involved in criminal activity. Simply standing, walking or sitting in public does not give them the right to compel id

If you have the right to freedom of speech, you also have the right to wave that right at any time, which means not speaking at all.

OK, public service announcement. I absolutely cannot spend one more second talking to you fucking retards here. Here’s a suggestion when an officer asks you a simple basic question like why are you here just answer” I work here. Can I go “ or other appropriate answer , end of story you don’t have to fucking legally argue every case like you’re in a courtroom every time, a police officer asks you anything. try to not be so retarded. Have a nice day.

They have to be given notice. And although she is right and he is retaliating under the First Amendment for her invoking her right. It must be explicit as the sign below states. I would add under advisement of counsel, I don't answer any questions and I want my counsel now. Some things people should commit to memory. Moreover advise them they are now trespassing on your right to peaceful enjoyment of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and violating the Fourth amendment. These alleged police enforces are on a power trip. Some other things to add: What is your Reasonable, articulable suspicion and probable cause that I have committed a crime, About to commit a crime, or in the process of committing a crime. Get these on the record, when he fails to answer you he is outside his jurisdiction and you need his badge number, name and risk management company for you to make a claim. These malevolent bad actors dont have qualified immunity acting outside their jurisdiction. Moreover, qualified immunity under loper bright decision is removed. The Judiciary is only to interpret the law as written and the Supreme Court acted as an agency by creating a alleged doctrine and law. Godspeed!

Cops serve the system, never the people.

The day will come when these uniformed low IQ psychopaths will be burying their uniforms in the back yard and telling people they delivered pizzas for a living.

Wooow a car in a parking lot? Who’d have thunk it?

I just don’t get it?? So what. Just be polite. May God treat the public servant with GRACE. If he is rude to you then you would have a point. But he was very polite and the female was the jerk!! Why? Is it that hard? Really?

Time to defund these policy enforcers nationwide. We need to create agencies that only teach and understand constitutional law. They truly are the criminals in our society.

She is 100% in the right here.

Oh God I hate seeing these videos. I'm so tired of the unqualified with the wrong disposition on this job. We show them in the police academy and through the PBA reps of examples of what not to do. This woman should sue that asshat and he should be removed from service. Absolute disgrace.

TO BE CLEAR - "AND I HAVE A RIGHT TO ASK FOR FOR ID" is only true in that he has the right to **ASK** but he has ZERO RIGHT TO DETAIN OR DEMAND ID for simply refusing to do what he feels like she should. Cops need to GET LAID and learn to control their fragile egos.

#armyourselveswithcameras #westriveforfreedom2026

Polite cop. He's wrong stating authority he does not have. He can't articulate any suspicion of any crime. It is not a traffic stop. More training needed.

A. this cop is fishing B. She's right she's not obligated to help in any way. C. He has no R.A.S. so he tries to violate her rights by IDing without an initial crime. D. Anyone who thinks that this cop is just doing his job is part of the problem.

I hate type of shit is this. Why the fuck is the cop harassing her. She doesn’t want to talk to him and she don’t have to talk at all.

To clarify, doesnt he have the right to demand a driver’s license if your in the driver’s seat?
