Very helpful! A year ago the majority of the congregation stood during Mass (no kneelers). Each week more and more people would kneel. Fast forward - this past Sunday about 60% were kneeling. Including me. 😊

I'm orthodox , I only stand up and kneel like we did 2000 years ago .The believer must maintain the uprightness of the dignity bestowed upon him by Christ.Kneeling takes place during moments of intense supplication or profound repentance ,act performed for spiritual elevation.

We come to Mass not to dance, clap, focus on the priest, etc. Jesus is the reason why we come to Mass. Jesus is why we are Catholic. Not the priest and definitely not the Pope. We are Catholics because of Jesus.
