This is worth watching. John MacArthur on being a called a Celebrity Pastor.

My dad who was a business man, my mom and him got saved between my 8th and 9th grade years. After my diving accident at hockey school. My dad saturated himself in the word. My dad and MacArthur were my #1 and #2 influences biblically, even before I got saved.

This is wonderful to listen to.

Amen John is a very good preacher.

In 2010 I became a Christian thru the teaching of RC Sproul. I was so enamored with him that I sent him a letter to let him know. He responded with a letter with one line ‘it has nothing to do with me - it was all the work of the Holy Spirit’… I’m sure the evil one uses pride associated with a celebrity status as the point of his spear of attack - so I can only thank God every day for teachers like John, RC, Sam Waldren, JW etc who remain consistent in their teaching and character…

He is a faithful servant. I remember back in the early 80's when John preached out of the book of John at Founders week/Moody Bible. My dad brought all the tapes home, I listened to those many times. He was so refreshing, but so basic to the scriptures. Real deal!

I notice how Dr John has stuck with his church and submits to his elders and love them and honors them. Never heard this from Steve L. and I think he was gone from his church too much for too long. Steve paid a high price for his error.

That was a blessing!

He is my teacher & preacher from the other side of the globe. I’m thankful that I always have the chance to listen to him thru the internet.
