This Kenyan entrepreneur from Kawangware is making microscopes from plastic bottles, but has only reached 10 schools so far. Made in Kenya.

Instead of grammys, why not fund this guy. Attacking @Starlink and not promoting such an innovative patriot is just nuts. Here is a product that most schools are in need of, for cheap and if it's all about carbon credits, hasn't he earned something? 🤦🏿♂️

This is quite impressive ♡ but the resentment Kenyan schools have for smartphones is something we have to deal with first

Wow, that's incredible! Repurposing plastic bottles into microscopes is a genius idea. I'd love to know more about the tech behind it. How does it compare to traditional microscopes in terms of functionality and image quality? Also, kudos to you for promoting innovation and education in Kenya!

Don’t do it . Don’t do it . Ok . Can I get these for schools in Rusinga ? 😀

@frezawendy Hey sure, can share his contact via DM

This idea was realized in Gearbox as far back as 2016 under a project known as Jua Kali scope led by a west African innovator(Karl Semenyo(?)). I played a small role in it. Maybe find out why it could not gain traction

The market for microscopes is very small. Most schools buy one after 50yrs. He should try marketing to the entire Africa

Innovative and beneficial hope more schools take it up .

Woiii ngai! hii imeenda musioneshe Ruto hii kidogokidogo ataiba auzie Adani.
