One thing I do have to say after watching this video. While yes it might look exhausting and probably is, think of the thought that went into making this combine easier to access to clean. Designers listened to farmers in this process.

I loved farm life in my childhood days, was sad when our farm was sold and we moved to town. These people are warriors.

This isn't cleaning...someone pushed the machine so hard cutting grain they plugged it up from end to end judging how many access pannels they had to remove. Plugging up happens by accident sometimes, but in general it's someone pushing the machine too hard.

Without using your favorite AI LLM, can anyone tell us why that diesel fuel she put in at the end is a different color?

It looks like a wheat harvester (combine), it's actually a lot easier than it was when everything had to be unbolted, and not nearly as dirty as a peanut harvester or a cotton picker.

If you wanna know about itchiness you should clean out a combine after harvest! You'll go straight for the shower afterward.

If you weren't taught how to clean it you would never find all the parts that need it clean

Some farmers do that once a year before they put it away in their $500000 shed after they used it for 3 or 4 weeks and some don't do it at all but I drive my truck 150000 miles a year and wash it once or twice a week and work on it every weekend with no government subsidies

I see areas where the green paint is worn down to metal in what looks like the food handling areas. Might be highly diluted but still not thrilled about paint particles in my food.

You would think John Deere doesn't design those beast very well. How often do the have to do all that? Daily? Weekly?

The mined petroleum, (or E-motors in the future) are doing 99% of the work, not horses or wetbacks.

Id it still legal? @JohnDeere still permits someone who think that just because they paid for a tractor the own said tractor and can open something in it? @JohnDeere is one of the most f*cked up companies that go against the right to repair.

John Deere is absolutely despicable for locking out owners from their diagnostics so they couldn't work on their own equipment. This just resulted in a 90 million dollar settlement but only allows owners access to diagnostic equipment for the next 10 years.

Nothing runs like a Deere

It’s real work. Physically demanding. It’s what farmers do every day. Don’t whine about food prices, you’re not out there doing it, they are. Yet they are not held in high esteem by the public, and certainly not by any govt.
