Nigeria is a beast of a country. Just watching this reminds me of how many southerners that will never step into this kind of places in their lifetime. Taraba is one of those forgotten hinterlands in the country.

this track sounds like a journey

This is how this year's celebration held In my state, Gombe. In the video you will see the Emir of Gombe receiving the Christmas homage and a gift of kola nut from the CAN leader, Gombe Chapter.

Nigeria is indeed very diverse

Muslims are not the largest religion in Nigeria. They’re just the most toxic

those dishes used to serve are decades old... 🥰🥰 Love that they are still in use

Person go see this wan come say them be "North"

Indeed, very beautiful. This must be a century old practice? Worth exploring from an historical perspective.

The King's attire looks similar to this one worn by a tribe in Cameroon I wonder if the similarity has a lot there do with the fact that taraba is closer to Cameroon

The boys brigades tradition is still very much alive there.

One of my best Christmas celebration memories so far, was in Takum, Takum LGA, Taraba state. I'm from Anambra!
