Fr I think the reason an AI video was chosen was simply to generate outrage and bring more people to the competition.

genuinely infuriating. one is so full of emotion and technique and the winner is literal merging AI images. not even actual animation by any sense of the term.

this sucks , like I already hated how exploitive Pink Floyd was but the fact they picked the most blatant AI garbage over this masterpiece is maddening
