This brought back tears . I did the same with my girl 🐾 after I lost my boy 🐾unexpectedly. I took her to see his peaceful body, as I needed her to know he wasn’t coming home 💔 Broke my heart

Dogs are precious. Reminds me of my twin golden retrievers. When one of mine died of cancer and the other laid down next to his brother. It was closure. He mourned. But, he didn’t look for him. He knew.

Dogs know, good thing showing this dog what happened. Still so sad though 😢

Our hearts were crushed & empty on a daily basis when our 16 yr. old male Shih-Tzu, when not wondering the house for months looking for his 14yr. old sister after she passed, would lay in her bed with his head onto his paws.
