@TheHapatarian I used dish soap in a dishwasher once. It FILLED my kitchen with suds. I then learned that suds are added to convince consumers the dish soap actually works. It's kinda like why instant cake requires adding an egg.

It was at the sink, so was the bleach. I had a pot that had grown mold in secret while chilling in a cabinet. It did kill the mold.

Don’t buy dawn! They changed their formula and it forms crystals in water and damages pumps and other issues downstream in the sewage system. It’s not the same product they originally used for wildlife…

I discovered it myself. I made a complaint to dawn last year

It damaged multiple soap pumps I have at home… and I showed that it’s creating crystalline structures in water.

It only happened when they changed the formula last year. With their “new scent” bs.

@michelleakin No, thats normal drying out. I found mixing dawn with water and letting it sit allowed it to form clear crystals that were not water soluble. It damaged soap pumps by clogging that you can’t remove.

@michelleakin I use to use the original dawn in the same pumps, and when I used the new dawn scent it damaged my pumps. It will cause issues downline in the sewage filtering for reclamation, that we haven’t seen the extent yet.

This makes me miss Andy Rooney.

Shelf-space...the more iterations of the brand within any consumer facing category, the fewer spots for competitors. It is a marketing spend, regardless of the particular success of any iteration.

I designed modulars for Wal-Mart for years. You wouldn't believe the analytical work that actually goes into these decisions.

Same idea. Very small product variation in order to dominate the aisle. Even more so since all these brands are owned by the same three corporations.

I'm most impressed he was able to stand and look at these products as long as he did without someone reaching over him or walking in front of him.

i feel like people hear someone talking and see a guy with a camera out and decide to skip that aisle for now 😆
