It’s obvious that the system isn’t great for some of the pieces we have, because it’s really unexplainable to why Gary, Smith, Clark , Were not able to generate a pass rush like they have been their whole career. Like they didn’t just all lose ability at once. Maybe we need different archetypes

Spent 9 years in a 3-4 scheme. Switched to a 4-3 and did not like it. He likely was going to get cut in the off-season so he asked for a trade to a 3-4 team so he can still show he can play well and find another team next year.

This reminds me of when they had to get rid of Kampman because he didn’t fit the scheme when they switched to 3-4. Both great guys and teammates
