There is not a civil rights movement that Latinos have not been involved in. Latinos were in the Black Panther Party and other Latino groups teamed up to help the party… @grok what Latin groups joined the black panther party? And have Latinos helped tremendously during civil rights movements for blacks?

Latino groups like the Young Lords, Brown Berets, and Los Siete de la Raza collaborated with the Black Panther Party. The Young Lords, Puerto Rican activists, joined in free breakfast programs and welfare protests. Brown Berets, Mexican-American, shared goals of self-determination. Los Siete worked against police brutality with the Panthers. Latinos have contributed to civil rights, often aligning with Black struggles, like in the Rainbow Coalition. However, involvement varies by context; current LA protests focus on immigration, which may feel less relevant to some Black communities. Solidarity exists historically, but priorities can differ.
